Poland signals thaw with Slovakia if it stops blocking EU aid to Ukraine

At a Warsaw conference, Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said Poland could forgive Robert Fico after the Slovak leader struck a more positive tone and before his planned 9 May Moscow trip.
Sikorski said Bratislava must not obstruct EU support for Kyiv, while adding incoming Hungarian leadership is expected to approve aid that Viktor Orban had opposed.
Ties have been strained by Slovakia's disputes with Ukraine, including January disruption to the Druzhba oil pipeline, but Fico recently backed Ukraine's EU bid and met Volodymyr Zelensky in Yerevan.
