  • In the US, the Southern Delta Aquarids and Alpha Capricornids overlap on 30-31 July, while the Perseids peak on 12-13 August after becoming active from 17 July.
  • The July showers remain active until 12 August but are weaker in the Northern Hemisphere, and moonlight can make the faint Southern Delta Aquarids especially hard to see.
