The 20 April incident on Holders Hill Road in Finchley involved three 14-year-old boys from Hasmonean High School for Boys; no injuries or arrests were reported.
Police are treating it as religiously aggravated assault after the black car allegedly mounted the kerb and sped away, while one boy's father said the children were visibly Jewish and left shaken.
The case comes as the Met deploys 100 extra officers to protect Jewish communities and reports antisemitic hate crimes in London rose to 140 in April from 98 in March.
