The awards include a $1.29 billion fiscal-year contract for long-lead materials through a task-order programme running to 2030 and a $165 million order tied to a Ford-class carrier.

BWXT said it shipped four large Ford-class steam generators to Hampton Roads, Virginia, in the past six months and has delivered more than 420 reactor cores to the Navy programme.
