Kurt "CyberGuy" Knutsson told Fox & Friends Weekend people should change passwords on email, banking and social media accounts, especially if they are old or reused.
He warned that breaches and credential-stuffing attacks let hackers reuse stolen logins, and recommended 12-character passwords, two-factor authentication and password managers.
Knutsson also urged reducing personal data exposure online, saying data-removal scans can help limit information available to scammers targeting accounts.
