The stock rose 0.34% to 13,766.95 rupees on Thursday as the BSE Sensex fell 0.15% to 77,844.52.
Maruti Suzuki ended 20.75% below its 52-week high of 17,371.60 rupees reached on 5 January.
Among peers, Ashok Leyland gained 1.78%, Eicher Motors added 0.25% and Atul Auto slipped 0.24%, while trading volume reached 38,462 against a 50-day average of 35,796.
