Bharti Airtel shares edge down in poor market session

The stock fell 0.38% to 1,826.45 rupees on Thursday as the BSE Sensex slipped 0.15% to 77,844.52.
Bharti Airtel ended 16.01% below its 52-week high of 2,174.70 rupees reached on 21 November.
Despite the decline, it outperformed Vodafone Idea, which dropped 0.62%, while trading volume rose to 736,542 against a 50-day average of 577,630.
