Kotak Mahindra Bank shares rise 1.32% in favourable market

The stock closed at 376.20 rupees on Wednesday as the BSE Sensex gained 1.22% to 77,958.52 and trading volume reached 2.2 million shares.
Despite the gain, Kotak Mahindra Bank lagged peers, with IndusInd Bank up 3.96%, ICICI Bank 2.25% higher and Yes Bank surging 8.06%.
The shares remain 16.95% below their 52-week high of 452.98 rupees, reached on 20 October, though volume was well above the 50-day average of 1.3 million.
