Alphatec shares plunge 32% after revenue outlook cut

The stock fell to $6.97 and touched a 52-week low of $6.85 after the medical technology company cut expected 2026 revenue to about $882 million from $890 million.
First-quarter revenue rose to $192.1 million from $169.2 million but missed analysts' $197.5 million estimate, while its loss narrowed to $33.9 million, or 22 cents a share.
Chief Financial Officer J. Todd Koning said EOS imaging-system sales fell $3 million year on year to $14 million, with revenue per case down about 3%.
