The stock closed at $19.50 on Wednesday, its second straight gain, with trading volume of 28.5 million shares versus a 50-day average of 7.9 million.
Healthpeak finished just 0.91% below its 52-week high of $19.68 reached on 3 October, while Alexandria Real Estate rose 4.63%, Ventas slipped 0.18% and BXP gained 2.24%.
The move came in a broadly strong market session, with the S&P 500 up 1.46% to 7,365.12 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 1.24% to 49,910.59.
