Accenture stock slips 2.48% and underperforms competitors

The shares closed at $174.57 on Wednesday as the S&P 500 rose 1.46% to 7,365.12 and the Dow gained 1.24% to 49,910.59.
It was Accenture's second straight daily loss and left the stock 46.40% below its 52-week high of $325.71 reached on 13 May.
Accenture lagged peers including IBM, ADP and Cognizant, which also fell but by smaller margins, while trading volume of 6.8 million was slightly below its 50-day average.
