NRG Energy stock sheds 4.31% and underperforms market and rivals

Shares closed at $150.64 on Wednesday as the S&P 500 rose 1.46% to 7,365.12 and the Dow gained 1.24% to 49,910.59.
The decline ended a two-day winning streak and left NRG 20.70% below its 52-week high of $189.96 reached on 25 February.
NRG lagged peers including Duke Energy, Exelon and Sempra, which also fell but by smaller amounts, while trading volume rose to 3.8 million from a 50-day average of 2.9 million.
