The tornado was reported near Brookhaven at 7:59 p.m., moving east at 35 mph across northeastern Lincoln, Lawrence and western Jefferson Davis counties.
Earlier, a Tornado Emergency covered Bude, Meadville, McCall Creek, Brookhaven and Bogue Chitto after another confirmed destructive tornado; Franklin County officials reported multiple homes destroyed and residents trapped.
