Clackamas County deputies said the pursuit began after a reported garage burglary on Southeast River Road on Tuesday afternoon, and ended in a rollover crash involving another occupied vehicle.
The other driver declined treatment, while Oldfield was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Deputies said suspected stolen items were found in his white Ford Explorer.
Oldfield faces charges including burglary, theft, DUII, identity theft and assault. Investigators said he also had warrants in Oregon and Washington and may have targeted additional victims.
