Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said the Farmington Hills businesswoman, 62, was released on $50,000 bond and faces a May 20 pre-exam conference in Oakland County.
Prosecutors say she diverted money from a state-funded Oakland County business accelerator to salary and personal purchases, forged invoices and filed false reports; investigators found no business relocations tied to the project.
The MEDC terminated the grant in March 2025 after irregularities, and the attorney general froze more than $6.3m in September; Beydoun denies wrongdoing as officials promise tighter oversight.
