Mohawk Industries stock rises 7.18% and outperforms rivals

Shares closed at $104.38 on Wednesday, extending gains for a second straight session as the S&P 500 rose 1.46% and the Dow added 1.24%.
Trading volume reached 1.2 million shares, above the 50-day average of 1.1 million, while Interface gained 2.01% and Caesarstone climbed 10.32%.
Despite the jump, Mohawk remains 27.07% below its 52-week high of $143.13, reached on 5 September.
