AB InBev posts first organic volume growth since early 2023

The brewer said first-quarter organic volumes rose 0.8% and beer volumes 1.2%, helped by strong gains in South and Central America, while North American volumes still fell 3.1%.
It credited a shift toward premium beers, alternatives and backing 50 leading brands, with megabrands now taking about 70% of marketing spend instead of a broader portfolio.
The rebound comes despite weakening global alcohol consumption and lingering pressure on Bud Light and Budweiser, as AB InBev also bets on younger drinkers, events marketing and its recent BeatBox acquisition.
