The Financial Conduct Authority said on Wednesday it had made no findings of competition-law breaches over conduct linked to PayPal's digital wallet.
Visa shares fell 1%, Mastercard 1.4% and PayPal about 0.33%, even as the broader market rose, while all three companies said they were cooperating with the inquiry.
