Aurora police said the 55-year-old was caught after a 3am pursuit ended with a PIT manoeuvre near Quebec Street and Exposition Avenue.
Officers found a blind female passenger who said she had begged to get out, prompting a kidnapping charge, and recovered more than 30 grams of methamphetamine and crack cocaine.
Barnes also faces motor vehicle theft, possession with intent to distribute, DUI and felony eluding charges, while police said he had an outstanding warrant and a lengthy criminal record.
