On her show Wednesday, Gaines attacked a viral clip from Cooper's 5 April podcast urging women to kiss or sleep with dates on the first night.
She said the message was hedonistic rather than empowering, warning it would bring heartbreak, regret, guilt, shame and broken families, and urging women to reject Cooper's advice.
Gaines also told parents their daughters were "under siege" by media messages about sexual worth. Cooper's representative did not immediately respond, while Call Her Daddy remains a leading US podcast.
