The Beersheva district court upheld detention until Sunday for Spanish activist Saif Abu Keshek and Brazilian Thiago Avila, seized in international waters last week and brought to Israel.
Their lawyer said the court accepted the state's arguments; Adalah called the arrest illegal and alleged abuse, including isolation, constant lighting, repeated interrogations and Abu Keshek's hunger and water strike.
Israel has filed no charges but cited suspected links to a group Washington says acts for Hamas. Spain, Brazil and the UN have called for the pair's swift release.
