In the Oval Office, he said the past 24 hours of talks were "very good" and previewed a 4,000-seat UFC event on the White House South Lawn on 14 June.
Trump said he had met Chevron and ExxonMobil executives on the war's economic impact, while noting falling oil prices and a wartime US average gasoline price of $4.56 a gallon.
