The April 30 Sacramento County complaint says the Indianapolis-based consultancy fired her on 27 January, a day after she sought more leave following breast surgery complications.
Steinecker alleges Resultant wrongly treated her absences only as FMLA leave, omitted CFRA designation, and mislabelled her role in reduction-in-force paperwork despite her Senior Director promotion.
She seeks compensatory damages, lost back pay and a jury trial. Resultant said it knows of the complaint, denies the allegations and will not comment further.
