The figures show unemployment fell month on month in all 13 metropolitan areas, 30 of the 35 largest cities and 65 counties across Wisconsin.
Compared with a year earlier, rates rose in all 13 metro areas, 34 cities and 62 counties, with Superior the only city posting a decline.
Six counties recorded monthly increases and Douglas was unchanged; over the year, nine counties improved and Vilas held steady, based on US Bureau of Labor Statistics estimates.
