The updated Android and Chrome vulnerability reward programmes are now live, with $750,000 for non-persistent Pixel attacks and up to $250,000 for full-chain Chrome browser-process exploits.
Google cut payouts for simpler Android and Chrome bugs and removed some Chrome bonus categories, saying AI-generated reports have made lower-level findings more routine.
The company said the 2026 reward pool will still grow and is steering researchers toward concise, reproducible, high-impact reports; its separate AI bug bounty launched in 2025 pays up to $30,000.
