Hungary returns seized Oschadbank cash and gold to Ukraine

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the assets returned on 6 May included $40 million, €35 million and 9kg of gold seized in March by Hungarian special services.
He said the valuables were back on Ukrainian territory in full after Ukraine had earlier secured the release of detained cash-in-transit officers.
The seizure was linked by a senior Hungarian official to Ukraine's blocking of the Druzhba oil pipeline, and the return may help ease strained bilateral ties.
