Regional governor Oleh Hryhorov said the casualties were in the Sumy, Putyvl and Seredyna-Buda communities, with two people taken to hospital.
A 63-year-old man was hurt when a drone hit a truck in Putyvl, while a 39-year-old woman was injured during efforts to repel a drone attack in Sumy community.
Four others were treated as outpatients. In April, Russian forces launched nearly 2,300 attacks on Sumy region, killing 16 civilians and injuring more than 200, Ukrinform reported.
