World Bass Enterprises said the Oct. 28-Nov. 1 event at Old Hickory Lake near Nashville will pay $3.25m, including a $1.25m top prize, to 50 anglers.
The tournament will bring together competitors from the Bassmaster Elite Series and Major League Fishing's Bass Pro Tour for what organisers call bass fishing's biggest payout.
Moss said the YouTube series follows his quest for a 10-pound bass, with celebrity guests, as fishing helps fuel his retirement and recovery after cancer.
