Uber reports Q1 revenue miss as Q2 bookings outlook beats expectations

Shares rose 9% after Uber posted $13.2bn revenue, 13 cents EPS and forecast Q2 gross bookings of $56.25bn-$57.75bn, above consensus.
Net income fell to $263m from $1.78bn after a $1.5bn hit from revaluing stakes including Didi and Grab, while gross bookings rose 25% to $53.7bn.
Delivery revenue jumped 34% to $5.07bn, but mobility missed forecasts at $6.8bn as Uber cited weather, geopolitical tensions and higher fuel costs; it is also investing in autonomous vehicles and AI.
