The Twitch political commentator, who has more than 3 million followers, said he does not use AI and argued it is making humanity "dumber in general."
Piker cited cognitive offloading, hallucinations and unlimited misinformation, and said generative AI is wrongly replacing human creativity instead of handling rote work.
He also warned AI is being used by capital owners to displace workers for higher profit margins, framing the technology as worsening life rather than easing burdens.
