ONDCP said overdose deaths fell by more than 13,000 in Trump’s first year and nearly 40,000 from the prior administration’s peak of almost 108,000.
The plan targets cartel supply chains through international intelligence-sharing, interdiction, tighter southwest border security and coordination among federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement.
