In an Instagram post over the weekend, the US entrepreneur told millions of users the setting can be turned off in about 30 seconds.
She said Google's smart features scan emails including financial, tax and personal messages, and advised disabling options in Gmail, Chat, Meet and Workspace settings.
Google said it does not train Gemini on personal emails, only processes data for specific requested tasks such as summaries, and does not retain that inbox data afterward.
