Infineon forecasts Q3 revenue above expectations on AI power chip demand

The German chipmaker said fiscal third-quarter revenue ending in June should reach about €4.1bn, above the €4.04bn analyst consensus.
Infineon also raised its outlook, saying revenue is now expected to rise significantly year on year rather than post only a moderate increase.
The upgrade reflects strong demand for power semiconductors as companies increase spending on artificial intelligence infrastructure.
