New York City Board of Elections results showed Wilson took 7,863 votes, or 59.4%, finishing more than 2,000 ahead of Lindsey Boylan in the 3rd District special election.
Boylan received 5,373 votes, or 40.6%, after three rounds, with Layla Law-Gisiko and Leslie Boghosian Murphy eliminated earlier in the ranked-choice count.
The April 28 race was triggered by Erik Bottcher's move to the state Senate and became an early test of Mayor Zohran Mamdani's endorsement power after he backed Boylan.
