In version 5.26.181.01.90, Android Authority surfaced the option on Android 17 QPR1 Beta 1, but activation still leads to a “Coming soon” screen.
The unfinished feature would let users create notes without unlocking and choose whether lock-screen notes reopen for five minutes, two hours, a day or always.
Google had laid groundwork in Android 14 in late 2023, but Keep never supported it publicly; no release date is known and the feature could still change or be dropped.
