Florida Highway Patrol said the 29-year-old was pursued after 11pm Sunday on US Highway 19 in Pasco County and stopped near Commercial Way in North Weeki Wachee.
Troopers said he sped, weaved through traffic, ran red lights and had a flipped-up licence plate before pulling over shortly before 11:30pm.
Hubbert was taken back to Pasco County and faces charges including reckless driving, felony fleeing and eluding, driving more than 50 mph over the limit and displaying a weapon during a felony.
