  • The system is already operating in select countries and will estimate age from cues such as height and bone structure, alongside text and interaction analysis.
  • Accounts flagged as possibly under 13 will be deactivated unless users pass Meta's age-verification process, and the company plans to extend the technology to Instagram Live and Facebook Groups.
