A Siena poll of 806 New York registered voters found Hochul ahead 49% to 33%, up from 47%-34% in March, with independents backing Blakeman by two points.
Hochul's job approval fell to 48%-44%, her lowest since April 2025, while 64% of voters still said they had never heard of or had no opinion on Blakeman.
The survey also showed Donald Trump's approval in New York slipping to 34%, including among Republicans, as voters gave state and federal governments poor marks on the cost of living.
