IQ Fiber launches fiber-optic internet service in Pinellas County

The rollout covers St. Petersburg, Clearwater and Largo, serving a county of nearly one million residents and businesses.
IQ Fiber said the launch starts a regional investment of more than $100 million and is expected to create more than 50 permanent jobs.
The Jacksonville-based provider, founded in 2021 with backing from SDC Capital Partners, says the expansion supports its growth strategy and adds to service in Florida, Delaware, Georgia, Maryland and South Carolina.
