In Henderson, Nevada, the No. 1 overall pick said two days of camp felt like a “firehose” after taking only five under-center snaps across three college seasons.
Mendoza said footwork is the biggest adjustment in Klint Kubiak’s scheme, and he has added nightly hotel walk-throughs of 25 to 50 snaps with each rookie lineman.
He is also studying Kirk Cousins and Sam Darnold on film and plans to skip Indiana’s May 11 White House visit to keep preparing before Raiders OTAs begin on May 18.
