ADP preview points to stronger US April employment rise

Ahead of the May 6 release, weekly ADP data, low initial claims and falling continued claims indicate a firmer April reading after March's 62,000 gain.
The report says services should drive the pickup, with trade seen rebounding after a 58,000 drop in March, while April non-farm payrolls are still expected to rise a respectable 90,000.
It also argues ADP may be catching up after weather and strike distortions skewed February and March payroll comparisons, when private payrolls rose 186,000 in March despite weaker earlier ADP readings.
