Cena said on X he will appear at Backlash in Tampa, Florida, after months of planning, promising an announcement that will change the WWE experience for superstars and fans.
The premium live event already features Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Trick Williams, Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Iyo Sky, Asuka, The Miz and Kit Wilson.
Cena retired from in-ring competition in December after losing to Gunther, but returned as WrestleMania 42 host after also appearing at last year's Backlash as champion.
