Sudan army accuses Ethiopia and UAE over Khartoum airport drone attack

Ethiopia rejected the allegation as baseless, while the UAE did not comment; witnesses said the airport had just received its first international flight in three years.
The army said evidence from a downed drone linked attacks since March 1 to Ethiopia's Bahir Dar airport and the UAE. The airport attack caused no reported injuries and operations were due to resume.
Strikes since Friday have hit Khartoum, Omdurman, al-Obeid and Kenana, disrupting returns after the army retook the capital in 2025. Activists said one drone killed five bus passengers in Omdurman.
