The project at Start Campus in Sines includes more than 66,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs from late 2027, plus €230 million in shared infrastructure and a second 200-megawatt building.
Nscale said the investment expands its partnership with Microsoft and will add capacity at the Portuguese site operated by Start Campus.
The total planned spend is about $812 million, underscoring continued heavy investment in AI-focused data centre infrastructure and advanced Nvidia chips in Europe.
