In Meron, 23 people were taken to hospital, including a 50-year-old man with a head injury, while a 15-year-old from Arad was separately hospitalised with burns over 18% of his body.
The 50-year-old and the boy were in moderate condition; the other 22 had light injuries including weakness, fainting and bruising. MDA treated 39 more people at the scene without evacuation.
The incidents came as police cancelled the annual Mount Meron pilgrimage, blocked access routes until Wednesday and dispersed hundreds who entered on Monday to light bonfires despite security restrictions.
