The $9 accessory fits over the controller’s back, leaves space for its magnetic charging puck and works with Mechanism mounts, including a magnetic phone mount.
It arrives the same day Valve’s new Steam Controller goes on sale, letting users pair a phone and controller for Steam Link game streaming.
Mechanism said broader mobile use remains limited because the controller does not yet work across all iOS or Android, while its Steam Controller Dock is due in June.
