The v4.9.171 update, announced by founder Eric Migicovsky on 1 May, also adds speaker and RGB backlight APIs, while the first touch apps include a timer, calculator and games.
The release makes the Pebble Time 2's touchscreen newly useful after shipping without software support for touch input, and developers can now build touchscreen apps through the live SDK.
