U.S. District Judge Anthony J. Trenga in Virginia ruled Monday that prosecutors still cannot examine devices taken from reporter Hannah Natanson in January.
The FBI seized her phone, computers and other electronics during an investigation into a government contractor accused of leaking classified material.
The decision is the second in the Eastern District of Virginia rejecting Justice Department efforts to review the data from Natanson's belongings.
