At Wednesday's event for Brenda Wilson against state Senator Greg Goode, three attendees were from one family, as Trump's effort to punish Republicans over a 2025 redistricting vote faltered.
Trump has not visited Indiana since vowing to help primary the 21 Republican senators who opposed the congressional map, though his endorsed candidates went to Washington in March.
Despite weak rally turnouts, Trump-aligned campaigns had attracted nearly $8 million in advertising by mid-April, while the Indiana Senate Republican caucus spent almost $2 million backing incumbents.
