Judge orders Trump to explain DC golf course renovation plans

Judge Ana Reyes gave the Justice Department until 7:30 a.m. Monday to answer an emergency complaint over East Potomac Golf Course, with a hearing set 30 minutes later.
The D.C. Preservation League says the National Park Service is moving to close the busy public course for landscaping and tree clearing tied to Trump's redesign plans.
The suit also alleges debris dumped there from White House East Wing demolition contained lead, arsenic and carcinogens, amid wider plans for a championship course and National Garden of American Heroes.
